Girl Blue is the moniker of singer-songwriter/producer Arielle O’Keefe. Perez Hilton said of her music "It's so hard to describe the music Girl Blue is making -- and that's awesome! This is effortlessly cool...and timeless." Pulling from a large array of influence, she is a powerhouse vocalist with the rare ability to write catchy songs that carry great emotional weight. O’Keefe is a rare and genuine talent, most especially shining as a live performer, where she has the power to silence a room with just her voice and a guitar. She continues to tour regularly and record her own music independently in upstate New York.
Cellist and Singer Laura Wolf uses live looping, effect pedals, and samples to weave a penetrating world of sound. Having dabbled in classical, ambient, and rock ensembles, her solo project is a playful tribute to her diverse musical roots. Deemed "beautifully immersive" and "distinctly enchanting" by Gold Flake Paint, her performances bridge spacious experimentalism with pop-driven hooks.
Singer-songwriter and poet, Diana Jones uses music to explore her own intimacy, as it relates to both relationships with others and exploration of self. The moodiness of her songs conveys her experiences with desire, sadness, trauma, loss, confusion, and love. To that end, her voice and guitar traverse extremes: they range from delicate and sweet to powerful and gut-wrenching, from a whisper to a roar. These compelling shifts make her music feel raw; Diana has a way of laying bare the ugly and beautiful aspects of human intimacy and honoring them all equally. With inspiration from artists of all genres --from Joni Mitchell to J Cole-- Diana writes music full of rich harmonies and dissonances that enhance the emotional and visceral experience that her ever-changing voice creates.
